Stockebrogöl

Stockebrogöl is located just east of Stora Hammarsjön, about 6 km southwest of Hultsfred. Gölen can be a little difficult to find and it is a very quiet and peaceful place. You can find the lake either if you pass the bathing area in St. Hammarsjön or if you take in at Ödhult from road 34 south of Hultsfred. SFK Kroken has for many years invested in carp water and this has been successful.

Nowadays they have a special carp committee that works to make the carp waters even better. Clearing of sites, construction of jetties and information are things that the committee is working on. You can only buy a fishing license in Stockebrogöl as a member of SFK Kroken and there are limited places. Do you want to fish? Contact someone in the committee for more information. Stockebrogöl is a small lake with dark water and outside the edges it quickly becomes deep.

The surroundings around the lake are dominated by a steep eastern side with rocks and boulders where the ground is firm and a slightly flatter western side where the road runs and the ground is softer. A narrow curtain of birch and pine grows at the edge of the lake, after which pine forest takes over higher up. The aquatic vegetation is sparse and consists of sedges, water lilies, water clover and reeds. The southern and northern ends of the lake are shallower, which means that the distribution of aquatic plants increases slightly.
