Söderåkra kyrka

Söderåkra church is actually called Sophia Magdalena and is one of the parish churches in Söderåkra parish. At least three churches have been built on the site of the present church. The first known church is believed to have been built in the 13th century and seems to have belonged to the type of church called "Kalmarkustkyrka" - a towerless stone church consisting of several floors that had different functions.
