Pestkyrkogården

In the northern part of Hallasjö there is an ancient ecclesiastical monument in the form of a plague cemetery.

One half of the impediment (the unusable ground) has been excavated and during this work human bones were found. A wooden cross has been erected on the preserved part of the hill. The site is popularly known as the 'cemetery'.

Once at the cemetery, you can continue on an alternative route and arrive at Bränderås village.
