Mysinge hög

Just south of Resmo is a kilometer-long burial ground that extends south along county road 136. Mysinge hög is the largest burial mound in the entire burial ground and measures 42 m in diameter and is 3 m high. The burial ground has not been investigated, but there have been finds from the Late Bronze Age nearby. Once up on the hill, you have a fantastic view of Stora Alvaret, Mörbylångadalen and Kalmarsund. Be careful not to disturb the sea king Mysing who, according to legend, lived in the mound.
