Beskrivelse
The Fagereke nature reserve protects a large forest area close to urban areas for the future. The hilly landscape contains pastures as well as broadleaf forests and a large number of old, large broadleaf trees. A wealth of lichens, mosses and fungi grow on the trees. In addition, several rare insects are linked to the aged giants.
The area is crossed by Gamla Västerviksvägen and a number of smaller roads that lead to the allotment area and a shooting range. Several well-established paths cross the reserve. Two of these are 3.0 kilometers and 1.9 kilometers and there are also several bridle paths.
