Hultsfred hembygdspark

The lowering of Hulingen in 1924 turned the old lake bed into meadowland. On the initiative of the local history society, Hultsfred's municipality bought Åängarna in 1932 to build a sports ground, public park and local history park.

The first building to be moved to the hometown park was Andersbo, a hut built in the mid-1850s.

Dalsebostugan is a two-storey farm building, probably from the mid-19th century.

The Bergebo croft was built at the end of the 18th century.

Two of the four market stalls from the Hultsfred plain remain today. One is here and the other is at Skansen in Stockholm.

The Skvalt mill is unusual with its counterclockwise rotating millstone.

The ox shoe stall from kristinebergs Gård was used when the oxen's hooves were to be clipped or cared for.

The Emarp station house and the road barrier are from Emarp.
