Bråbygdens vandringsled, orange slinga

The hiking trails start from Bråbo B&B and café in the middle of the village. There are coffee tables set up in various places along the trails, so don't forget to bring a basket or backpack with coffee!

The hiking trails are marked with four different colors and all have different lengths. One of the trails is stroller-friendly.

The orange trail starts at Bråbo B&B and café where the information board is located. The trail goes around the bird lake which is a dammed wetland area. There is a rich bird life here with, for example, owls and buzzards. At the spring field there are birds such as cranes, ducks and swans depending on the season. There is a rest area on the peninsula with the uniquely twisted "Råbocketallen", which is over 300 years old.

The trail passes Vasaberg with unique arrangements up on the mountain reminiscent of old times. On the eastern side of the bird lake there is a viewpoint with a picnic table and a fantastic view of Bråbygden. On the western side there is a picnic area with a view of the wetland.

Take care of nature. Take care of it and do not litter. Close gates and electric fences after you have passed. There are often cattle or sheep in the pastures to keep the landscape open.

Dogs should always be kept on a lead.
