Beskrivelse
An easy loop through Borga Hage nature reserve along Princess Estelle, Prince Alexander and Princess Leonore's walking path in what is also called the Castle Forest. Here on winding little footpaths, along Kalmarsund and with a short detour on the cycle path in Borgholm you are led from castle to castle. The grandeur of Borgholm Castle Ruins is not diminished when you pass beneath the 30-metre-high western or through the lush avenues of deciduous woodland that lead you just below the royal family's summer paradise Solliden Castle. But beware, the loop is a popular walking area so it so take it easy and be considerate.
Tip As well as being just a stone's throw away from Solliden castle, the café Kaffetorpet and the café systrarna på höjden throughout the cycle, Borgholm city centre is just a short distance away where you can go shopping, eat well or just enjoy Öland's only city.

The majority of the route is on narrow cycleable footpaths. Some parts of Princess Estelle's walk are on paved surfaces. The stretch around Borgholm sports ground is on a cycle track.

There are parking facilities adjacent to Borgholm Castle. Otherwise we recommend parking in Borgholm.
