Best Western Sjöfartshotellet

Adjacent to Oskarshamn harbor is Best Western Sjöfartshotellet. A hotel with 42 rooms in a beautiful area with a short distance to several restaurants and the city center.

At the hotel there is free parking and guests have access to the relaxation area with sauna.

All 42 rooms are in the maritime theme which gives a cozy feeling. The rooms have a work desk and free wireless internet access.

If you want to combine your stay with a conference, the hotel offers conference facilities in the Oskarshamn Maritime Association's conference room only 300 meters from the hotel.

Welcome with your dog

At Sjöfartshotellet there are several dog rooms where you are welcome to bring your dog (also cat, rabbit, etc.). The room costs SEK 250 extra per night and includes a food bowl, some treats, poop bags and a sign to hang on the door that you have animals in the room.

Dogs are welcome to join you in the smaller dining room, but not in the same room as the buffet is served.

You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you when you travel to Oskarshamn.

Best Western Sjöfartshotellet was founded in 1957 and the purpose was then to provide accommodation for seamen ashore. Nowadays there are not so many sailors to accommodate here, and now almost only the name lives on from that time.
