Torskinge kyrka

Torskinge Parish Church
is a well-preserved Romanesque stone church with apse sanctuaries and a
free-standing bell tower. The church was built in granite between the 1180s and
1220s. The building consists of a nave, sanctuary and apse. The church is built
from natural stone that is plastered white. To the south there is a porch and on
the north is the vestry. To the east, the sanctuary is stepped down from the
nave and ends with an apse. The nave and sanctuary have a gabled brick roof.
The porch, apse and vestry all have shingle cladding. In the 18th and 20th
centuries, the church was remodelled and whitewashed. Inside the church there
is a triumphal crucifix from the 14th century.

Next to the church is
a wooden bell tower from 1678. The bell tower is wooden, painted red and has a
cross-shaped gable roof with a spire. The roofs are shingled and coloured
black.
