Säby utsiktsplattform

Here you can enjoy the bird life at a newly constructed viewing platform at Säby church and look out over Säbysjön. Breeding lake-dependent birds include kingfishers, common terns, water rails, skylarks, herons, bearded tits, small-spotted grebes and probably also brown harriers. The lake is also an important resting place. Combine a trip to the birdwatching tower with a closer look at Säby church, which dates back to the 12th century. It is considered to be one of the county's most beautiful and has historically interesting interiors and good opportunities for guided tours.
