Osudden badplats

Osudden is located at the northern tip of Lake Vidöstern. The swimming
area is very child-friendly! There is a long sandy beach, a playground, several
barbecue areas, toilets and good parking facilities. The beach has a beach
volleyball court and an outdoor gym. The water is very shallow, which can be an
advantage for children or if you want to play ball games in the water.

Cycle or walk from the centre of Värnamo:

Osudden swimming area is within cycling and walking distance of the
centre of Värnamo. It is 3 km one way following Osuddenrundan.

Dog beach:

On the eastern side of the swimming area is a dog beach. The area is
signposted ‘hundbad’ and the rules are also signposted.

Boat ramp:

At
the mouth of River Lagan, in the lake, is the boat club’s clubhouse. Here
there’s a concrete ramp for launching boats.
