Norra S:t Sigfridsleden, Etapp 5 Furusjö - Perstorpsvägen

WELCOME TO WALK ON NORRA S:T SIGFRIDSLEDEN - Habo - Mullsjö

Welcome to hike on historic roads in beautiful Småland and Västgöta nature! The trail described here stretches from Jönköping to Falköping or vice versa. With the help of the maps and directions on this page, you can choose how you want to organize your hike. All at once or divide it into stages.

Stage 5 Furusjö - Perstorpsvägen

Length: 5 km

Terrain: Forest road, Gravel road, Path, Asphalt

Difficulty level: Medium

The trail continues on gravel and forest road largely along the railroad. Here you pass Furusjö farm. The forest road turns into a narrower path that crosses a road at a railroad crossing. On the other side of the road, the trail continues and coincides with Västra vätterleden, which is marked in orange. Shortly afterwards you pass the croft Anderstorp.

After about two more kilometers of partly narrow rocky path, you pass Jäboruder old farm. Around the farm there are species-rich pastures.

You continue on a gravel road and path in partly hilly terrain until the municipal border at Mullsjö community.

Soon after the municipal boundary, the pilgrimage trail turns off from Västra Vätterleden. Here you now have a long downhill to the lake where there is a simple bathing place for those who want to take a dip. Then the trail continues through the community where there is a café, bus and train station, pizzerias, grocery stores and pharmacies.
