Kyrkvikens badplats

At Kyrkviken's bathing area in Bäckseda you can swim in the Emån, often surrounded by grazing sheep. It's family-friendly with nice areas for laying out blankets and towels. The bathing area has a sturdy jetty that encloses the shallower water. Towards the river, it's deep enough to jump in, but you can easily reach the bottom, so be careful diving. There are two ladders up onto the jetty.
