Beskrivelse
Hökesån is a valuable watercourse between Hökesjön and Lake Vättern. Along the watercourse there are several reserves that were established at different times. Some of them are difficult to reach, but the one called Hökesån is easy to get to because it runs through the community of Habo. In addition to paths along the water, there are both picnic and barbecue areas. In the western part there are also beautiful cultural-historical buildings.
As mentioned, the Hökesån river is covered by reserves along virtually the entire stretch. The easiest to reach is Hökesån-Habo, but Hökesån-Hallebo and Hökesån nedre are also relatively easy to visit.

Rutevejledning
The Hökesån Habo reserve runs straight through the town of Habo in an east-west direction. You can enter the reserve in many places. For more information about where there are rest areas and fireplaces, contact Habo municipality.

Regler
The right of public access does not fully apply within the nature reserve. You are welcome to visit Hökesån, but be aware that it is not allowed to:
- destroy or damage fixed natural objects or lying or standing dead trees or bushes
- dig up plants
- permanently put up a picture, sign, inscription, poster or similar.
