Hättebaden

Hättebaden is Tranås' largest bathing area and is beautifully located by Lake Sommen just southeast of Tranås town. There is nice grass to lie and sunbathe on, at the bottom of the water there is a sandy beach and the bottom is also sandy. The bathing area has a jetty, diving tower and a raft a bit out into the water. There are about 100 parking spaces 100-150 meters from the beach. A ramp down to the water makes it possible for wheelchair users to get out. The bath is adjacent to Hätte camping and there is also a restaurant and catering. Hättebaden is classified as an EU bath. Lifesaving equipment is available on site.
