Bolmens fvof

Bolmen's surface area of 185 km2 makes it the tenth largest lake in Sweden. It lies between Småland and Halland, bordered by dense, silent forests. The nearest town is Ljungby, located by motorway E4 only 20 km from the lake. The lake is situated at an elevation of 140 m above sea level and has 300 islands. The largest is Bolmsö, which is linked with the mainland via a bridge in one direction and in the other direction via a ferry (free of charge).Bolmen has 24 fish species, and with its countless islands and inlets that lend themselves to fishing, it has become a popular fishing lake. There is an abundance of pike, pike-perch and perch in these waters, and with a little luck you can even pull up a salmon or salmon trout.
