Berners utsikt/Gubbebacken

The Berners utsikt/Gubbebacken trail takes you through the varied habitats of Romanäs Nature Reserve. You start from the reserve's parking lot and initially move through a beautiful oak forest. Keep to the right when the path splits and you will eventually arrive at a 7-8 year old hygge where raspberry thickets dominate for a few more years. The path continues up to Berners utsikt where you can rest and look out over the lower parts of the reserve and the road. There is a good shelter and a simple barbecue area. Then continue the path, keep right when it splits, walk all the way until you start to glimpse the road. Turn left here and then left again when you come down to some houses. Continue through beautiful spruce forest back towards the parking lot again.
