Cykelled, Åtta byar och åtta sjöar

An easy route through beautiful Småland scenery! The route is not signposted, but you can use the map in the mobile app to stay on course. The tour passes picturesque villages, pastures, deep forests and open landscapes. At Lake Kassasjön you can take a break and try your luck fishing. In Gamla Åminne you’ll find the ruins of the old ironworks and a beautiful nature conservation area. Dannäsljusstaken (the Dannäs candlestick) welcomes you to the village at the southernmost point of the route. Here, you’ll also find Dannäs Våffelcafé och B&B (waffle café and B&B).

Make a stop at the old church in Torskinge. Once in Forsheda, you can have some lunch. Before that there is the farming village of Fänestad in the heart of the open landscape. On the way back to Värnamo you’ll pass beautiful old Stone Age burial mounds by the village of Nästa. The route is not signposted, but you can use the map in the mobile app to stay on course.
