Vandringsled Järåstigen, Bispgården

Järåstigen takes you to the beautiful waterfall Byforsen and the flower meadows overlooking the Indalsälven.

Follow the red markings. The hike begins with a walk along the road with the birch grove, crosses road 86 and follows Flobergsvägen a bit to a marked meadow where the path continues to the bridge over Järån.

After the bridge you come out on the peninsula where the Annedal mill with mansion has been. To Byforsen/Byfallet, there are two path options. You can choose to walk in an extremely overgrown ravine or to follow an old bog road. There are tables and benches at the falls. From the waterfall, water power was taken to the power station and the mill. After the waterfall, you pass several uncultivated fields and finally come back out on the road, which you follow back.

Byforsen / Byfallet which is a clearly worth seeing waterfall. At the fall there are benches
