34. Skärkdalen - Öjön (lätt)

From Skärkdalens fritidsby a path goes west through the mountain forest in the eastern part of Skärvagsvålen's northern slope. A little further up the slope, the Skärvagsdalen Nature Reserve extends in an east-west direction. The reserve contains old pine forest and remains of Sami settlements.

Northwest of the reserve, along the Skärvagsån river, there is a long stretch of trapping pits that you pass if you continue along the path north towards Lake Öjön. You will also pass by the Dalsvallen, Nylandsvallen and Vålvallen sheepfolds. Fishing in Lake Öjön, especially in winter, for large Öjöröding and trout. Check out fishing license!
