Smedhultaleden

In Gårdshult Nature Reserve you can find Smedhultaleden. Along this you will find, among other things, Halmstad hill, which is a viewpoint towards Halmstad where you can see the water tower in Söndrum on a clear day. In the western part of the reserve is Höjabjär, the highest point on Smedhultaleden with a magnificent view of Halmstad and towards Gårdshult. When the surveyor DG Löhr established the boundaries between the villages of Gårdshult and Eriksköp in 1820, he called the Smedhultamyren bog Höjabjärs mosse.
