Oskarström – Gyltige, Hallandsleden

The trail crosses the Nissan at the edge of the old industrial community of Oskarström. After the last houses in the community, it goes slowly uphill and then down again to the next river called Sennan. Here the trail passes Virsehatt nature reserve. From the top of the mountain there is a magnificent view of the area.

Here, the Hallandsleden trail runs through woodland with bogs. The trail leaves the broad valley of the Sennan to descend via the rocky heights to the Fylleån valley. On the way there, the trail follows forest roads through clear-cut and planted spruce forest, but also some deciduous forest and over marshland. The trail passes some smaller villages with beautiful farmland. When you have climbed down to Fylleån, just after the bridge over the river, you will reach the meeting point for the eastern section of the Hallandsleden.
