Beskrivelse
Hule is divided on either side of Lake Simlången. The western area (Hule N) has a history as inland land with fenced fields and meadows. In the eastern area (Hule S), animals grazed during the summer in the unfenced so-called outfield. Even today, you can experience the wings of history and see traces that testify to how the land was once used. The northern part is best suited to visits, with a footpath and parking.
In Hule S you can enjoy all the greenery in the form of moss-covered old tree trunks, a lush field layer and dense tree crowns. But Hule N is more accessible, with several small paths running along the lake. The Hylteslingan and Cykelspåret cycle paths pass along the old railway line. Here and there are hollow trees where various woodpecker species have their nests. Most of the ground is covered by blueberry bushes. Where it is open, daisies, hop flowers, meadowsweet and gray mallow succeed each other throughout the summer's floral splendor.

Rutevejledning
Hule S and Hule N are located in Halmstad municipality. Directions: North: From road 25 in Simlångsdalen center follow signs towards Mahult. Turn right on a small gravel road at the sign for the boat mooring. There is a small parking lot. GPS (WGS84): Lat N 56° 43' 33" Lon E 13° 8' 40". Public transport: Hule Norra is within walking distance of the community Simlångsdalen, bus stop "Simlångsdalen" is 1 kilometer from the reserve. South: The area is best reached on foot or by bike. From Hule N follow the bike trail south to Hjältevadsbron and cross Fylleån. About 300 m after the bridge turn right on the gravel road towards the reserve. Total about 1.5 km. No parking at the reserve.
Regler
To protect the nature reserve, the County Administrative Board has decided on special regulations, including those that you as a visitor to the area must follow and respect.
In addition to what applies under other legislation, it is forbidden to:
- letting dogs loose in the area,
- camping or pitching a caravan
- light a fire in a place other than that designated by the manager,
- damage vegetation, e.g. by digging up plants,
- destroy or damage a fixed natural object or surface formation
- affixing a board, poster, inscription or other disturbing device
- taking any action that may disturb wildlife, such as taking close-up photographs of birds' nests
- driving or parking a motorized vehicle other than on a designated road and parking space, and
- causing damage to fences or other structures.
