Pastamakarna Fårö

In the summer of 2020, we opened a restaurant on our own farm, to be able to offer visitors and residents of Fårö good, affordable and sustainably produced food, served in an authentic Gotland farm environment. The idea was born in April that year, when the pandemic forced us to rethink and rethink. We wanted to make pasta from Gotland ingredients and we premiered two months later. The idea and concept is simple; fresh pasta served freshly cooked with different sauces. It is the choice of ingredients and the fact that we cook everything from scratch that makes the big difference. For us, our pasta is food that is suitable for both quick everyday dinners and parties for many. It's simple, filling, sustainably produced and nutritious. It's good for you and the planet. But most importantly, it's the food our own children love and Pasta Makers is our pet project for them.
