Världarsvgården Bommars i Letsbo

In 2012, the Bommars farm, along with six other Hälsingland farms, was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List of places in the world that are so unique for their time period that they are of interest to all mankind. The farm with its brown-burnt log houses is beautifully situated on the outskirts of the village of Letsbo in northwestern Hälsingland. Hälsingland farms are especially known for their houses and rooms built for celebrations and are particularly notable for their decoratively painted interiors in the 19th century. The banqueting hall in Bommars is particularly distinctive with its wallpaper, which has stencilling between the wallpaper folds.
