Svartvallen

Svartvallen, Delsbovallen below Blacksås. Once there were 14 cottages on the embankment, now there are three left. The farmhouses were on one side and the barns on the other. The last picture shows one of the clear ruins. Until the beginning of the 1920s, there were giant servants on the embankment. Delsbo Hembygdsföreningen owns the former Lars Lidén's (Bolten-Lassa) cottage, which was first donated to Delsbo Municipality after his death in 1963. The proceeds from the six-day auction went to the elderly care in the municipality. The hiking trail up to Blacksås 3 km, goes through the embankment.
