At the roundabout in the eastern entrance, eight tall forms rise. We are greeted by a very stylized and purified design language. The sculptures can be likened to long tall "stalks" that rise upwards to be crowned by a hollow sphere, which in turn has a smaller round shape inside. The smaller sphere is more irregular, it is like a thick wire of steel moving around and creating it through a tangle.

The sculptures may resemble stylized trees, but one's mind easily wanders to some kind of electronics or lamps - especially when looking at them in the dark as they light up the roundabout.

Artist Åsa Herrgård has created the site-specific work. Herrgård works a lot with materials and this sculpture consists of recycled material from Sandvik AB. Åsa Herrgård has created a variety of public works around Sweden, including the artwork Landmark, which is located in Södra roundabout/Spängersleden in Gävle.
