Beskrivelse
Norrbränningens nature reserve is located between the lakes Norrbränningen and Sörbränningen and the E4 forms a corridor straight through the reserve. The forest consists mainly of pine forest. In the eastern part, an old path leads over the heights of Uvberget, but it is difficult to get there due to fallen trees. Norrbränningens nature reserve is located 8 kilometers southwest of Ljusne and covers 336 hectares. There are no maintained paths in the area. On the eastern side, it is difficult to get around on the path due to fallen trees.
The whole area is dominated by swollen, large-block moraine. On the heights, the soil is thin, with bare rocky outcrops and shingle fields.
In addition to the larger open bogs Goddagsmyran and the bog around Rudtjärn, there are also several smaller wetlands and swamp forests scattered throughout the area.
Norrbränningen is home to many species of wood-dwelling insects. Inventories in the area have found over 30 red-listed insect species, such as the lesser celandine dragonfly and the pine shoot beetle.

Rutevejledning
The nature reserve is located 8 kilometers southwest of Ljusne in Söderhamn municipality. In the eastern part, an old path leads over the heights of Uvberget, but it is difficult to get there due to fallen trees.
Regler
Special rules apply within the nature reserve. It is not allowed to:
- drive motorized vehicles other than on roads intended for motorized traffic
- take firewood. Burning is only permitted if you have brought your own firewood break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes
- damaging, picking or collecting plants, fungi and lichens
- climbing nest trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise harming or disturbing wildlife
- putting up a picture, poster, billboard, sign or inscription
- damaging any fixed object or surface formation, such as rearranging or removing stones, digging, or similar.
