Beskrivelse
Lillbovallen-Långsbovallen (3.1km) Small path that has mostly grown over but has been recreated in 3 stages by Södra Delsbos Byalag. The trail is marked in blue mainly on trees and wooden posts. Small hoof path used by Karin & Bertil Dahlström from "Nylands" in S.Långsbo because they bought land with fields on Lillbovallen for increased grazing for the animals. Has then been forgotten since the late 60s when they stopped taking the animals from S.Långsbo to Lillbovallen but the path between the two pastures is most likely much older. Ester Jonsson (Dahlström), sister with Bertil went several turns with cows on the path behind Lillbosjön during the 40s on this path and has contributed with important info about how it went etc. Gradually the cows learned to walk themselves behind the lake. Long stretches have been basically gone and overgrown but now it is available for hiking. The trail starts almost in the middle of Lillbovallen and has a beautiful route through the elongated pasture north of Lillbosjön with fields, forest, lake and pasture cabins as a frame. The trail passes one of the valley's two cold springs where the drinking water for the cabins is taken. The spring is called Prinskällan because it stands on the "Prince's" land. Eventually the fields end and the forest takes over and the trail turns into a forest path. Lillbosjön can be seen east of the trail and now a longer forest section awaits after the trail. After almost 1km, the trail passes Tjuvstenen where thieves according to. Håkan Olsson and Ulla Jonsson had hidden a robbery after a raid on a horse-drawn carriage after Kalvstigen. Interesting cavities around boulders directly adjacent to the stone can be seen and examined. The trail continues through "Älglegorna" up on a small ridge and then it goes down towards Lilludden with a nice view of Lillbosjön and two log benches. Here you can eat your packed lunch with advantage. You have to make a small detour to reach the rest area at Lilludden but it is worth it and there are blue markings all the way. After Lilludden comes the nicest part of the trail with nice views of Lillbosjön and a mix of forest and marshland. When the bay on the back of Lillbosjön is rounded, the trail turns off along a rough path that you follow in the direction of Långsbovallen until Vägkorset where there are reference signs. Then the trail continues south of the road and a short forest section with two bridges and then a field can be seen. This is the part of Långsbovallen that is popularly known as "Ryggen" after the gravel ridge left by the ice sheet. The ridge served as an excellent foundation for two double huts. The trail crosses the ridge between the cottages (Olers & Sheftners). Then an old road with two wheel tracks goes up to the southern part of Långsbovallen with other cottages and farmhouses etc. You have arrived. Trail description; Fredric Berg Ordf.
