Gäddviksvallen - Lillbovallen

Gäddviksvallen was further back a 4-way intersection where Kalvstigen went straight through the embankment, to get to e.g. Järvsö you passed here. You could also turn east towards Renåsvallen and west towards Gäddvik. The trail itself starts at Gäddviksvallen and directly offers interesting hiking along G.a Kalvstigen where a bridge had to be built by SDB to get over Gäddviksån in the same place as the old one. It is a lovely place with rushing water and lush grass and forest. In Gäddviksån there are remains of an old float gutter and approx. 100m after that you can make a detour (left) to the remains of Gäddviks old power plant that fed the villages Gäddvik, Lillbo, Långsbo, Gäddviksvallen, Lillbovallen and Långsbovallen with direct current for mainly candles but also threshing, carpentry etc. "Källbergs"-Olle built the power plant and was paid by the users in the villages. Soon you reach the junction with (current) Kalvstigen and here you follow the road to Lillbovallen (about 800m). Just before the center of the embankment, you turn off the road onto Klövstigen which goes through the embankment and soon you arrive at the sign 🌼Lillbovallen🌼. Here you will find 3 original cottages and several summer cottages. From here you can continue to Lilludden and Långsbovallen.
