Torsktjärnsrundan

A pleasant and fairly short hike (5 km) that connects the two old hiking trails that go to Arnbo and Gårdvik and formerly on to Falun. From the mast up on Torsktjärnsberget you are offered a fantastic view of Enviken and the surrounding area. The trail is managed by Envikens hembygdsförening.

Start from Enviken's old church and follow the orange markings. Down the village road and over the bridge. For the best view, turn left and continue to the edge of the forest. From there the markings are denser. At the 4-path junction choose the left path towards Arnbo. This path is painted both orange and blue. After about 300 m, the orange trail turns right and continues up to the mast. Then go past the mast and continue a short distance along a tractor road. After that road there is a sign for a viewpoint. It is well worth making a detour out to the viewpoint where you have a fantastic view of large parts of Enviken. Once back to the tractor road, you have to be a little observant as the tractor road continues straight ahead and the hiking trail turns off to the right. Back at the 4-path junction, take the left path and you are on your way back to Enviksbyn again.
