Törnbergs väg

About three kilometers northeast of Grycksbo outside Falun there is a mythical path called Törnbergs väg.

It is just over three kilometers long and was built by hand by the mill worker Isidor Törnberg in the 1930s because he wanted to be able to cycle to and from his house at Rogsjön.

The path, which is smooth and fine with few stones and roots, starts at Långtjärnbergsvägen and then winds over clearings and through forest and ends at a forest road down by Rogsjön. It slopes gently downhill most of the time.

Törnbergs väg invites to fast cycling and you get a wonderful feeling of speed in the soft curves.
