Söderbärke hembygdsgård

Hembygdsgården is beautifully situated next to Lake Norra Barken and is open daily during the summer season with a craft stall and café in the old bakery and guided tours.

Söderbärke Hembygdsförening was founded in 1925 and has been an active association ever since. In the 1950s, the Baggströmska farm was acquired, a former mountain manor with agriculture and forestry, genuine on the site and probably built in the early 1800s. In addition to caring for, showing and developing the homestead, the largest annual event is the Midsummer celebration at Hagudden.

The association's activities also include the Paul Eriksson Museum and the old fire station.

Söderbärke homestead and church village is included as a visitor destination in Ekomuseum Bergslagen.
