Siljansleden, cykel, Leksand

The entire Siljan Trail for cycling is a total of about 31 miles long, of which about 5 miles through Leksand municipality. The trail mainly follows smaller roads and winds through low-lying areas around Siljan. The cycle path is signposted with blue signs, but it has been a few years since the signs were put in place, so check the map to find your way. Rest and camp sites are located along the trail at suitable distances. Through Leksand the trail passes many beautiful places and villages. Famous views of the area can be found in Tällberg but also take a detour up to Björkberget in Siljansnäs where there is a nature center and a nice new viewing tower.
