Rostö-Nordanö

The Ösjön-Runn area has a beautiful landscape. A large number of islands and a broken shoreline contribute to this.

The area is heavily used, with a large number of holiday homes, boats and several bathing areas. Recreational fishing is extensive and in winter ice fishing competitions are common. If the ice is good, it is used for ice skating.

The protection of the completely undeveloped islands of Rostö and Nordanö plays an important role in this context. On these islands, the natural qualities of the area for outdoor recreation are preserved and in the long term the natural value of the forest will increase.
