Beskrivelse
Ruins and remains of the village of Sporrberg.
Sporrberg dates back to the 17th century and was at its largest at the end of the 19th century, with at most about 10 families. All that remains today is the ruin of a barn.
The area is home to the Finnklinten, which is believed to have arrived with Finnish settlers in the mid-17th century. The finch is a perennial herb that can grow to 80 cm tall and has a leafy stem. It thrives in open fields and flowers where fields and meadows once stood and is only found in a few places in Sweden. Flowering normally occurs in late July to early August.
There are nice walking paths along the gravel roads and the view stretches far north over the Nodes.
