Welcome to Hanö Hostel!

The hostel is located halfway up the island in Hanö’s old school building, offering a total of 22 beds spread across five rooms and two cottages, accommodating 1–6 guests.

In the main building (the old school), you’ll find five rooms, a fully equipped and newly renovated shared kitchenwith dining space, two showers, and two toilets. Right next to the school building are our small cottages, Lillstuga 1 and Lillstuga 2. Lillstuga 2 has been completely renovated and includes a private shower, toilet, and a small kitchenette.

Bed linen, towels, and cleaning are included in the price.All rooms are non-smoking, and pets are allowed in the small cottages.

In the garden, you’ll find a clothes-drying rack, a barbecue, a kubb game, hammocks, and a yoga mat. Inside the kitchen, there are toys and board games for guests to enjoy. During summer, freshly baked bread rolls, yogurt, cold cuts, and more can be purchased in the small shop down by the harbor.

Perhaps you’ve brought your fishing rod to try your luck with sea trout at Äspudden, or maybe you have your binoculars ready to spot nightingales or razorbills. Or maybe you just want to sink into a freshly made bed after a day of discovering beautiful Hanö.

For those who want to explore Hanö from the water, we also rent out two pedal kayaks down in the harbor.

And don’t forget—the starry sky on Hanö is breathtaking, and the sunsets are simply incredible.
