Beskrivelse
Between Lake Sännen and Lake Listersjön lies one of the largest beech forests in Blekinge. The Blekingeleden trail runs through the reserve and the whole area around lakes Sännen and Listersjön is a popular hiking area.
The reserve includes the forest area between Listersjön and Sännen, and parts of these lakes. High-growing beech forests with elements of oak dominate the forest stand.
Beech forest and meadows
The area contains multi-layered and partly old beech forests, but also smaller areas of oak forest, coniferous forest and fine small swamp forests. It is relatively rich in mushrooms and several finds of red-listed or otherwise unusual species have been made. In the north-eastern part of the area there are pastures and a small hay meadow with young pollarded ash, lime and maple trees.

Rutevejledning
Sänneshult is reached via the road between Tving and Möljeryd. 7 kilometers west of Måstad there are signs to the nature reserve and its parking lot.
Regler
You are welcome to visit Sänneshult, but please note that it is not allowed to
- dig or otherwise damage solid natural objects or surface formations
- dig up plants
- damage living or dead trees or bushes
- unduly disturb wildlife, for example by close-up photography
- during the period April 1 - July 15, enter or stay within the areas comprising Bockholmen in Sännen and a water area with a width of 50 meters around the island, and Tolsebodaviken with islands in Listersjön and land areas west and east of the bay
- bring an unleashed dog
- drive a motorized vehicle other than on roads designated for this purpose
- drive a motorboat
- camping or pitching a caravan
- anchoring or mooring a boat for more than 24 hours
- light fires other than in designated places
- use a radio, gramophone, tape recorder or similar in a disruptive manner
- affix a board, poster, placard, sign, inscription or similar device.
Nor may you collect beetles or butterflies without permission from the county administrative board.
