The inn is one of the oldest and most well-preserved buildings in the area. Originally built in 1714 as a private residence, it later transformed into Blekinge’s very first coaching inn—a place where travelers of the past would stop to rest their horses, enjoy a nourishing meal, and get a good night’s sleep before continuing their journey.
