Beskrivelse
There are plenty of moorings on Fölsö and the highest point of the island offers magnificent views across the archipelago. The island has been used as grazing land but has never had a permanent population.
The north-eastern part is rocky beaches. To the south-east, the beach is stony and rich in flora in the form of hemp-agrimony, meadowsweet, bayonet grass and angelica. The remainder is rocky outcrops and groves of aspen, hazel, alder, oak and pine.
The rules for the nature reserve are shown in the link below, but, for example, you may pitch a tent or moor a boat for no more than 24 hours, you may only light a fire in a designated spot, and all dogs must be kept on a lead.

Rutevejledning
The island can only be accessed by boat. Fölsö is in the Hällaryd archipelago, just south of Östra and Västra Bokö, about 1.5 nautical miles north of Tärnö. There is a jetty on the western shore. Boats can also anchor off the rocky shore on the east side.
Regler
You are welcome to visit Fölsö, but please note that it is not allowed to:
- Disturb wildlife
- bring an unleashed dog or other loose pet
- make a fire other than in specially designated places
- damage living or dead trees and shrubs or vegetation in general by digging up plants
- use a radio, gramophone, tape recorder or similar in a disruptive manner
- permanently camping or mooring a boat for more than 24 hours.
