Vad händer när solen dör - Guidning för ungdomar och vuxna
Zdjęcia
When: November 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Smultronstället Tunåsen in Old Uppsala
Bus stop: Kungshögarna, about 1 km from Tunåsen
Come up to Tunåsen and hear a breathtaking story about the rise and fall of a star—namely, our own sun. Sofia Ramstedt, a researcher at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University, will guide us through the life of stars. At this very moment, Earth is passing through the Leonid meteor shower, and we’ll have an especially good chance of seeing shooting stars. Before the Star Tour, you’re welcome to join Biotopia’s family activity at the same location—see above. Tunåsen is located just south of Kungshögarna. There is a bus stop and parking at Kungshögarna in Gamla Uppsala. From there, it’s about a 1-kilometer walk south along the footpath on the east side of Kungshögarna. Then follow the signs to the lookout point. The guided tour will be canceled in case of persistent rain or a storm.
