Hycklinge hage (grön slinga)

Hycklinge hage is a restored pasture garden with pollarded trees and interspersed with old farmland. With only 5 km distance from Oskarshamn, it is a suitable excursion destination when you want to experience nature.

The area is criss-crossed by some scenic hiking trails lined with rich flower fauna, especially in spring. The most powerful impression is probably when the blue and white anemones spread out in the spring and when all the birch trees leaf out. The area has a varied landscape, ranging from birch groves and marshes to mountainous areas.

The flora and bird life are very rich in various species typical of older pastures. Night violet, haymaker, cat's foot and others can be mentioned. Hycklinge hage is only a few hundred meters from the Nature Center where it is suitable for hiking with a picnic basket.
