Opis
Stora Blyberget Nature Reserve consists of older coniferous forest on a northern slope. There are no paths in the area, so you can roam freely in the forest. At the northern part of the border there is a forest road to walk on. The mountain and forests offer great nature experiences. The area is located 4 kilometers southeast of Annefors and covers 47 hectares. The nature reserve consists of a relatively steep slope with older spruce forest. In places, there are also older aspens. There are also old spruces scattered throughout the area. The trunks bear traces that they have survived forest fires.
The area also contains burnt stumps from trees that did not survive the fires. Several species of fungi have been found. Those that depend on dead wood of both spruce, pine and aspen. Some of these species are the woolly tick, the pine tick and the candelabra fungus.
There are also several bird species worth protecting in the area. Three-toed woodpecker and lichen jay have been observed.
