When the sea ice is thick enough, an approximately 4.5 kilometer long ice skating loop is plowed in Tibble Bay.

Before heading out on sea ice, check the status of the ice - pay particular attention to spring ice and snow-covered ice! Remember that you are always skating at your own risk, even on plowed sea ice. Never go alone, carry ice picks and a backpack with a change of clothes, wear a helmet and be sure to check the ice.
