Kårböleleden Etapp 8, 13 km

Klövsjö - Sakrisbodarna 11 km (first section outside the Helgon Trail).

Here the trail splits from the Helgon Trail, which takes a different route until it joins the Jämt-Norgeleden trail at Storsjö. Kårböleleden goes north through forests and past pasture walls to Sakrisbuan where there are cattle in the summer.

History & nature:

Zakrisbuan (as it is spelled in some older documents) dates back to the 1800s and is one of the mountain farms that still has cattle on site in summer.
