Today is a school holiday, and you’re invited to join us on a butterfly safari! We’ll meet at the start of the butterfly trail by the parking lot at Hällens Gård, where you can borrow a net and jars to observe butterflies. How do you recognize a butterfly, and how do you find them? Which butterflies are out flying right now? The butterfly trail in Hågadalen is a place where you can find many different species. We’ll walk a short way along the trail to explore what it looks like where some different butterflies live. Some butterflies can fly in open fields, while others are found in clearings in the forest. We’ll stop for a snack at a picnic spot at the edge of the forest, so please bring your own snacks. We’ll walk a short distance along the embankment (about 2 km total).
Meet at the start of the butterfly trail (follow signs from Håga By) at the Hällens Gård parking lot at 1:00 p.m. The safari takes about 1.5 hours. Guides: Lennart Henstam, Anna Lagerqvist, Karin Lindström
Registration: Register your entire group (including accompanying adults) at INFO@BIOTOPIA.NU. PLEASE NOTE! Registration is mandatory because we have a limited number of spots this year! Organizer: Biotopia
