Opis
Kyrksjön is the latest wetland project in Botkyrka municipality. The restoration has been done to benefit the Baltic pike and bird life. It has proved to be Botkyrka's hottest bird-watching spot, with species such as the great crested grebe, curlew, dunlin and black-tailed godwit resting at the lake in 2015. During the grazing season, cows graze on the wetland and you can watch the birdlife from the birdwatching tower, which can be reached from the car park next to the church's parish hall.

Superfin fågellokal! Röd glada, Rördrom, Blå Kärrhök, Lärkfalk, Svartsnäppa för att nämna några roliga arter jag har sett/hört på lokalen. Nu växer tyvärr grusstigen igen från p-platsen till tornet vilket är synd. Därtill är p-platsen avstängd, oklart varför. Svårt att ta sig dit nu. Ett besök med en slaghack skulle vara välkommet.
