Opis
W tym silnym południowym obszarze uszczelniającym dominuje stary las sosnowy. Niektóre sosny noszą ślady po trzech pożarach. Istnieje wiele grzybów cierniowych, które rosną tylko tam, gdzie las został pozostawiony bez wpływu człowieka. W słabym lesie sosnowym znajdują się stare aspary, które zapewniają warunki dla bogatego życia owadów. Rezerwa zawiera głównie osady osadowe przewożone przez lodową topniejącą wodę śródlądową, gdy płynęła wzdłuż krawędzi lodowej. Z serii rynsztoków na różnych poziomach wysokości, osadów odłożono w grzbietach i oszustwach. W wilgotnych i bardziej pożywnych waflach, rośnie świerk.

Wskazówki dojazdu
The nature reserve is best reached by car. From Östersund follow the E45 south. After Åsarna turn off towards Vemdalen. Follow road 84 towards Linsell. In Linsell turn right towards Lofsdalen, cross Ljusnan and then turn right immediately after the bridge. Follow the forest road to Dalsvallen (about 20 km). From Dalsvallen you can either hike up to the nature reserve (about 2 km) or continue by car. Then drive northwest and take the third exit to the right. The road ends in the nature reserve.
Regulamin
Welcome to Sveduberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- pick and collect species of various kinds, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
- climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately damaging or disturbing wildlife,
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make fires, other than with firewood brought in
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
