The ancient castle at Vidja, Skansberget between Rörsångarvägen and Helmerdalsvägen, is built on a high ridge with sloping sides. Remains of a wall can be seen on the eastern side. There you can also see an entrance in the wall. There are also wall-like remains at the foot of the mountain to the southeast, enclosing the mountain area itself. The ancient castle may have been a sacred place or a center for religious rites and ceremonies. Enjoy the view of the Orlången.
